At 10 o`clock on Saturday 2nd April a happy and industrious bunch of members of Busby Parish Church set out to Spring clean the Village of Busby as part of the "Keep Scotland Beautiful" initiative. Two hours later they returned to the church tired laden with many bags of rubbish but with a feeling of satisfaction for a job well done.
Once they deposited the bags of rubbish in a pile they tucked into a soup and sandwich lunch followed by tea, coffee and caramel shortcake.
